With a strong passion for micronutrient optimization and cellular health, Megan also holds certification in IV Vitamin Therapy through Intellectual Medicine University.

She remains actively engaged in a national community of healthcare providers, participating in ongoing case discussions and continuing education to stay aligned with current, evidence-based clinical practices.

Cathy, RN

Cathy was born in Omaha, Nebraska. As part of an Air Force family, she moved around the world before settling in Alaska in 1990 and she has loved calling it home ever since. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Cathy has spent most of her nursing career working in Orthopedics and Communicable Diseases but she later discovered a passion for hormone health, optimization, and longevity medicine.

As a dedicated registered nurse, Cathy works closely with patients undergoing hormone optimization, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and metabolic health treatments, ensuring they receive safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey. She is committed to educating patients, answering questions, and helping them feel confident and supported as they work toward improving their health, energy, and overall quality of life.

Known for her approachable demeanor and attention to detail, Cathy is passionate about helping individuals build lasting health and sustainable vitality.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and their dogs. As a family, they love to travel, hike, bike, and fish. Cathy has also developed a love for reformer Pilates for its mental health benefits, as well as its ability to improve core strength, muscle tone, spinal stability, and reduce back and joint pain.

“One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is hearing patients share how their quality of life has improved - from having the energy to be present with their spouse and kids after work to feeling stronger in their workouts and finding relief in pain or reaching their goals with the help of peptides.”

Kellylee Mann, RN Health Coach

Hi I'm Kellly, a nurse (with 11yrs experience) who has a passion for helping people. Through my years of bedside nursing I saw and still see how broken our healthcare system is. Nurses don't have the time to spend hours with each patient educating them on their illness (what led them into that hospital bed in the 1st place) and doctors unfortunately are not educated more than a couple hours in nutrition because lets face it, its all about big Pharma. So I decided to become a certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, and certified nurse coach ontop of my bachelors degree in nursing to help people live an all around well balanced lifestyle. Health=longevity. I'd love to help you in any way I can, whether that is setting you up with a workout plan, helping you research your diagnosis, or guiding you in nutrition.

Basecamp Medical

At Basecamp Medical, our mission is to help men and women in Anchorage and surrounding Alaska communities take control of their health and reach peak performance. We specialize in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), hormone optimization, medical weight loss, and men’s health services designed to address the root causes of fatigue, low testosterone, poor sleep, weight gain, reduced performance, and sexual health concerns.

Whether you're struggling with low energy, low testosterone, decreased libido, metabolic health issues, or difficulty losing weight, every journey toward better health begins at a strong foundation. At Basecamp Medical, we combine evidence-based medicine, comprehensive lab testing, and personalized treatment plans to help patients build strength, resilience, and lasting vitality.

Your path to better health starts at Basecamp.

  • At Basecamp Medical, our mission is to help patients climb their personal health mountains through advanced, evidence-based medicine. As a leading men’s health clinic in Anchorage, we specialize in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), hormone optimization, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, erectile dysfunction treatment, and longevity-focused care.

Whether the challenge is low energy, poor sleep, weight gain, hormonal imbalance, or declining performance, we believe every transformation begins at basecamp. Our approach focuses on identifying the root cause of health concerns and building personalized treatment strategies that restore strength, vitality, and long-term wellness.

Through comprehensive diagnostics, personalized medical care, and ongoing oversight, Basecamp Medical provides the tools, guidance, and support patients need to improve metabolic health, hormonal balance, and overall performance. Our goal is to help every patient build resilience, reclaim confidence, and reach their highest level of health.

  • To be Anchorage’s most trusted men’s health clinic, providing ethical, evidence-based care that restores metabolic health, optimizes hormone balance, and supports long-term vitality. We envision a clinic where every patient can access personalized testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), peptide therapy, erectile dysfunction treatment, medical weight loss, IV therapy, and telehealth services, guided by comprehensive diagnostics and expert medical oversight. Our goal is to empower men to reclaim energy, performance, and overall wellness, creating lasting health outcomes that transform lives across Alaska.

    • Individuals experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance, such as fatigue, low libido, mood changes, sleep disturbances, or hot flashes.

    • Patients with clinically confirmed hormone deficiencies through laboratory testing.

    • Adults seeking medically supervised restoration of hormonal balance to improve quality of life.

    • Good Candidates for Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Men experiencing symptoms of low testosterone may benefit from Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). Common symptoms include fatigue, decreased libido, reduced muscle mass, weight gain, low mood, and difficulty concentrating. At Basecamp Medical, we evaluate each patient with comprehensive lab testing and a medical consultation to determine if TRT is appropriate. Ideal candidates are men with clinically low testosterone levels who want to improve energy, strength, mental clarity, and overall quality of life under medical supervision.

  • At our clinic, we focus on direct, patient-centered care. By offering cash-pay services rather than billing through insurance, we are able to:

    • Prioritize quality of care: Our providers can spend more time with each patient, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to your health goals.

    • Ensure transparency: Cash-pay pricing allows patients to know the exact cost of services upfront, without unexpected insurance adjustments or hidden fees.

    • Maintain flexibility: We can provide a full range of clinically appropriate treatments, including hormone therapy, TRT, weight loss management, and wellness services, without insurance restrictions.

    • Simplify the process: Patients experience less paperwork, fewer approvals, and faster access to care.

Our goal is to provide safe, evidence-based, and personalized medical care while maintaining clarity, convenience, and accountability for every patient.

“Equipping patients with the tools to conquer their health mountains—starting at Basecamp.”
