Direct Primary Care
Limited to 50 Patients per Provider
Direct Primary Care · Anchorage, Alaska
Healthcare, the way it should be
One simple membership. A provider who knows you, a direct line when you need it, and unhurried visits — without copays, enrollment fees, or surprise bills.
A Better Model
What is direct primary care?
Direct primary care is a membership-based approach to medicine. Instead of billing insurance for every visit, you pay one flat monthly or yearly fee that covers your primary care, including your annual physical, regular visits, labs, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
We cap each provider at 50 patients on purpose. A small panel means time: time to talk through what's really going on, to build a plan that fits your life, and for your provider to genuinely know you.

Questions
Direct primary care FAQs
Is direct primary care the same as insurance?
No. Your membership covers your primary care with us, but it isn't insurance. We recommend keeping coverage for emergencies, hospital stays, specialists, and other care outside primary care.
What if I need more than 8 visits in a year?
Additional visits, including same-day urgent visits, are $150 for a one-hour appointment and are billed to the card on file.
Do unused visits roll over?
No. Included visits reset at the start of each membership year, and unused visits expire.
Who can become a member?
Membership is open to Alaska residents. Once you're a member, you can see your provider by telehealth from anywhere in the world, whether you're traveling, working out of state, or spending the winter somewhere warmer.
Can my spouse join?
Yes. A spouse membership is $315/month, 10% off the standard rate, for a total of $665/month for a couple. Couples can also prepay for the year with our Couples Annual plan at $7,182, saving $798. We don't currently offer a family or children's plan.
Why is each provider limited to 50 patients?
Keeping each provider's panel small is what makes this model work. It lets your provider return calls quickly, check in every quarter, and give every member genuinely personal care. As we grow, we'll add providers rather than overload anyone's schedule.
Can I cancel an annual membership?
Annual memberships are paid upfront and are non-refundable, including if you cancel early. If you'd like more flexibility, the monthly plan may be the better fit. Payment plans for annual memberships are available through Cherry.
Are hormone, weight loss, and IV services included?
No. Direct primary care is your everyday, whole-person healthcare. TRT, weight loss, peptides, IV therapy, BHRT, and other Basecamp services are available to members separately.
Direct primary care membership is not health insurance and does not replace coverage for emergency, hospital, specialist, or other services outside primary care.
